Hull & Ring Preparation

  • Lightly sand the mounting area. Remove dust, grease, and contaminants with acetone or isopropyl alcohol.
  • White mineral oil is the recommended coupling fluid.
  • Prep the stainless steel ring the same way. Use acetone if applying 3M 5200.
  • After saltwater use, rinse with fresh water.
